南韓檢方今天表示，檢方認為總統朴槿惠共謀密友崔順實的犯罪活動。這項指控可能讓反對派有理由推動彈劾。
美聯社報導，首爾中央檢察官辦公室表示，檢方準備於不久後約談朴槿惠。朴槿惠雖享有豁免，但仍可接受調查。
檢方在電視記者會中表示，根據證據，「總統在嫌疑人崔順實、安鐘範和鄭虎成的犯罪活動當中，涉及相當程度的共謀。」安鐘範和鄭虎成曾擔任總統幕僚，今天因涉嫌協助崔順實遭正式起訴。
檢方表示：「然而，根據憲法八十四條，總統享有豁免權，檢方無法起訴總統。特別調查總部仍將根據判斷持續推動針對總統的調查。」
朴槿惠的總統任期二○一八年二月二十四日屆滿。如果她在二○一七年十二月二十日總統大選之前下台，南韓就必須在六十天內舉行總統大選。
